Top 5 Poshmark Scores of All Time

Updated: Mar 5, 2023

I joined the Poshmark community in 2018 with a single mission in mind: to turn our no longer needed items into a new sofa, which we desperately needed. Spoiler alert—I still haven't covered the cost of the sofa, but the experience has been more rewarding in ways I couldn't have anticipated.

The biggest surprise came with my very first sale. I only made $12.00, but I experienced a wave of exhilaration as a result of moving an item out of our home knowing it was going to someone who could use it or loved it. 67 sales later, I can tell you it still isn't about the money.

The whole process couldn't be easier so for me, Poshmark will continue to play an essential role in my always ongoing decluttering process. Another surprise was how quickly Poshmark became one of my favorite go-to shopping destinations. When I signed up, I really thought of Poshmark as a means of generating money for other priorities—bills, groceries, the sofa. I never thought I would use the money I earned to reshop on the platform.

For decorating enthusiasts, there is no shortage of decor items, spanning virtually all decorating styles. I've also scored some amazing gifts. But don't confuse score with cheap. Yes, you can find great deals, but the best deal is finding something truly unique that adds to your curated and personal decor style, or a thoughtful one-of-a-kind gift. With this in mind, here are my all time top 5 Poshmark scores.

#1: Spiral glass and copper pulls $23.57

These were my first Posh purchase so they are special for that reason alone, but they are absolutely gorgeous, charming, and match my decor aesthetic perfectly. Never underestimate the difference new hardware can make in any room (not just the kitchen or bathroom). It's the little details that can really make a space look pulled together and personal.

#2: Vintage Tonka Comanche Gladiator camper and horse trailer $93.48

When our first son was born, I stumbled across a vintage Tonka truck at a flea market and bought it for him. When our second son was born, I wanted to get him a similar keepsake, but had a hard time finding something just right. I checked all the usual online seller sites, but just couldn't find something that made my heart sing. I decided to check Poshmark and it was love at first site when I found this little camper.

#3: Carved Asian Cinnabar plate $33.00

While accepting new followers, this caught my eye in @renewedretired's closet. It's just beautiful and so unique. The color was perfect for my decorating pallet. I do not advocate using themes to drive a decor style, but I do use them to a very limited degree to create flow throughout our home. This was the perfect addition to some art my parents brought from a trip to Japan and some ceramics and pottery I have on display. It definitely sparks joy every time I pass by so no question it deserves a top 5 spot.

#4: Vintage woven lattice trinket box $18.07

This was a gift for our older sister. I have a running pineapple joke with her (long story) and this was the perfect gift to one up her pineapple melamine plates she sent me for my birthday.

#5 Aldo Londi for Bitossi Rosenthal Netter gold ashtray $125.47

I use gold a lot in my decorating. I had to have this and decided to repurpose it as a candy dish. I'm not an avid collector, but this definitely fits the mold of a super rare collectible and I have a feeling it could be the start of a beautiful collection from this artist.
